2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Is A Terrific Off-Roader

Monday, November 21st, 2016

The TRD Pro series was introduced two years ago for Tacoma. However, for this year, the new generation of Tacoma was presented and TRD option was abandoned. Now the new Tacoma is unveiled and it brings back the TRD.

Exterior – What is new?

There are several significant upgrades on the exterior. First of all, the front grille resembles the one from the FJ, whereas below, on the sides we have LED fog lights. These lights were produced by Rigid Industries, one of the best in manufacturing aftermarket off-road parts. Secondly, the scoop is located on the hood, but it is not functioning. Under the front bumper, there is an aluminum skid plate for off-road driving.

2016 Toyota Corolla has modern practicality

Monday, November 21st, 2016

Always bulletproof and utterly dependable in the daily dispatch, the Toyota Corolla has been a long time faithful soldier in the automaker’s product line for over 40 years. With the launch of the eleventh generation Corolla sedan back in 2014, Toyota seeks to become “the vehicle you want to buy, instead of the vehicle you know you should buy.”

The 2016 Corolla features dramatically amplified elements of style, design, quality and craftsmanship, building its stellar reputation for reliability, efficiency and function. The Corolla sedan makes an immediate visual impact with a more expressive, chiseled exterior design that elaborates on the “Iconic Dynamism” theme first seen on the Corolla Furia Concept that debuted at the North American International Auto Show. The new Corolla is distinguished by its tauter, more athletic proportions that ride on a longer wheelbase than the previous model. With the wheels pushed out toward the corners, compact overhangs, and more tapered front and rear expression, the new Corolla communicates a more dynamic compact sedan form, even at a standstill.

TOYOTA HIGHLANDER SE: 2017 MOTOR TREND SUV OF THE YEAR CONTENDER

Monday, November 21st, 2016

The best part of the Highlander appears to be what was left unchanged: its remarkably well-considered interior packaging.

Abundant headroom, legroom, and cargo room are complemented by clever storage options such as the door-to-door dash-mounted shelf and a center console that Mark Rechtin reckoned “can fit a dog or your purse—or your dog inside your purse.”

Those who like the old one will love the new one.

Test Drive: 2016 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Monday, November 21st, 2016

Who could have foreseen that when Toyota unveiled the first Prius hybrid in 1997 that cars with both gas engines and electric motors would become so commonplace. Today, the groundbreaking economy cars are plug-in hybrids, all-electric vehicles and experimental fuel vehicles. Nowadays, there are so many conventional hybrids to choose from, they don’t seem like a big deal anymore — except when it comes to mileage, of course.

One of the best is the hybrid version of the 2016 Toyota Camry, which includes all the features of the company’s popular affordable family car, but adds an electric motor and battery pack to the 2.5-liter inline four cylinder engine for improved mileage. Unlike the first versions of the Prius, the new Camry Hybrid drives just like a traditional gas powered car. It is actually a little faster than a regular 2.5 Camry but not as quick as the 3.0-liter V6 version. But it gets better mileage than both, of course, since that’s the whole point — an EPA average 40 miles per gallon.
